Fiscally Conservative Socially Liberal USA

If you're fiscally conservative and socially liberal or socially liberal and fiscally conservative you're likely like me and find media propaganda from both sides tedious and annoying to sift through. My blog is born because I find the media ideological adherence to their demographic's party cumbersome.

Premise 1:
I am a closet atheist. I don't call people ignorant because they believe in mythology/religion. I think that as much wars there were started by religious fanatics, the first scholars were also priest and priestess so they balance out. I'm a budding psychologist so I understand personal bias. If your family raised you to believe in whatever ideology/mythology/religion your culture subscribe to, baring really intense brain washing, or insurmountable systematic degradation of belief, you're likely a believer and that's a human thing to do. If you believe in a god, you allow me my disbelief, and we respect each other and we are good to go.

Premise 2:
I believe in helping out people in need but that it is wrong to mandate helping. One is charity, helping out of your own freewill. The other is robbery, taking Simon's money to give to Paul. Encouraging people to help, such as tax credits for charitable donations should be commended. Raising the taxes so we can pay for social programs, should be avoided. Encouraging should be encouraged, mandating should be avoided.

Premise 3:
The smaller the government, the better it will be managed. I don't want other people to be my boss by default. The US is a democracy, so the government is made up of other people. I don't want to be the boss of someone else's either. I believe that we are only as strong as our weakest link. When we protect rights, we must protect rights we intend to give to our worst enemies. When we give a punishment, we must make it bearable for our best friends. A fair government is not a father but a peer. A father has too much power.

Premise 4:
In the absence of injury, where happiness maybe found, a law must be equal to all independent citizens. Transactions allowed of one type must be allowed to all. (Yes, in theory, no matter how abhorrent, transactions between consenting adults must be allowed).

Premise 5:
The government should only take care of people who are not independent. The government is the people so yes, it implies it must report to the people on how those it cares for are being treated. I don't care if mass murderers are being fed stakes as long as disabled people are also eating stakes. One ward should not be allowed more or less.

Premise 6:
Equality of status. If we give free education to first graders, we give free education to PhD. Don't want to pay too much? I propose a progress exam tailored to age/specialty/field. Enough subsidies to education. If any individual or organization can guide and show adequate progress on the academic needs of children, then the can be granted license to teach with parents holding the voucher to whichever institution they want to put their kids in. Or teach the child themselves and keep the money. (Since there is test for adequate progress, it would eliminate unsuitable teachers). A teacher can take as many students as they can adequately guide to progress. Guided lessons, with teachers guiding lessons. This is the information age. We can let our first graders listen to the wisdom of Stephen Hawking.
